Dr. Visal KANTARATANAKUL

Assistance professor Visal Kantaratanakul graduated as Doctor of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital Mahidol University, The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. He had residency training in Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Thai Medical Council, Thailand.
He had training in several center including visiting fellowship at Toronto rehabilitation centre, Toronto and Research fellowship, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Washington USA. He also attended several cardiac rehabilitation course and meeting including “Cardiac Rehabilitation” training course, Heart Research Centre, Melbourne, Australia.
He held the positions in the past including Deputy to the Vice President for sports and special affair, Mahidol University (October 1, 2004-Oct 2007), Vice director, Golden Jubilee Medical Center Mahidol University (October 1, 2004-March 2008) and Head, Department of Rehabilitation Medicin, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University (October 1, 2000-September 2004).
He is one of the pioneer of cardiac rehabilitation services in Thailand. He had join and open the first cardiac rehabilitation center in Thailand At Ramathibodi Hospital since 1998. His main interest is exercise in medical conditions and longevity. He run the exercise4 prescription clinic in Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital.
He currently hold the position as Director, Rehabilitation Center, Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital and head, Cardiac rehabilitation Unit, Cardiac center, Samitivej Hospital.
